The work of the Institutional Advancement Office isto acquire all types of support in order to advance the mission of Gwynedd MercyAcademy.

Thereare many efforts sponsored by the Institutional Advancement Office to promoteand support Gwynedd Mercy Academy.  Theseinclude:

     1. The Annual Fund is a direct mail and personal solicitation programthat seeks unrestricted funds for the efficient operation of the school.  The Annual Fund supports technology, teachers salaries, educationalconferences, etc.

     2. Gwynedd Mercy Academy offers limited financial support for studentscholarships.
These scholarshipsinclude:
          a) The Alumnae Scholarship This is a three-yearscholarship offered to a rising sophomore.

          b) Sister Gail deMacedo Scholarship This is afour-year scholarship offered toan incoming freshman who graduated from aSister of Mercy elementary school.

         c) Thereare two scholarships funded by individuals in memory of alumnae:               
              1.) TheRomano Scholarship
              2.)
TheMargaret Cunningham Murray '45 Scholarship            

     3.Moravske Toplice recensioni sugli alberghi   TheEducational Improvement Tax-Credit Program This program offered by the stateof Pennsylvania gives businesses the option to give financial aid support to anapproved school in lieu of paying a major portion of state taxes.  For information on this program, please contact the Advancement Office.

     4. CapitalProject 
        Past The first stage of construction began in November 1998 and was completed for the 1999 2000 school year.  This$4,400,000 project expanded the facility  by 14,000 square feet and created acomprehensive Cultural Arts Center.

        The Cultural Arts Center is a stunning facilitythat offers a creative learning environment. The school also created a new library, computer writing lab and tiered lecture hall.  To augment the athletic program, the school alsoconstructed tennis courts and a regulation outdoor track in concert with theAmbler Olympic Club. 

   
     Present Renaissance, The Campaign for Gwynedd Mercy Academy is seeking donations tosupport the building of a Performing Arts Center, a Chapel and a new Front Entrance.  The philanthropicgoal of the campaignis four million dollars.  The activesolicitation of gifts began in 2001 and will continue over a five-year period. Gifts and pledges have exceeded $3,300,000.  The campaign will end in June  2005.
